When you come to a Leadership Triangle event, you may not know exactly what to expect. The events take a lot of various forms, but one thing you can expect at all of them is FUN. Here are five fun things you will experience by signing up to participate at a Leadership Triangle event.
- Small Group Activities
Who said becoming a leader had to be boring? At our events, we tend to have time for small group activities where you will interact with the other participants. Each of these is tailored not only to create a memorable kinetic activity that will teach a valuable leadership lesson, but also to get you moving and enjoying yourself.
- Meeting New People
Another fun thing about the events is you will definitely meet some great people from the local area. Our participants come from all walks of life and work for some great companies, non-profits, elected officials, educators and other organizations. Having the chance to open-up around them and grow, will form a bond that is beyond simple networking.
There is nothing more exciting than getting an “ah ha” moment. When you get an insight into something that will truly help you grow and excel in your life and career, it can be, well, fun. Self-discovery doesn’t have to involve you thinking deeply alone in a cave. It’s more likely to happen surrounded by good people, getting feedback and guidance at an interactive event.
- Learn New Skills
In school, it wasn’t always cool to think learning was fun. But adults can now openly admit it. Learning skills that can take your career to the next level? Even better. Leadership involves many things (managing people, stepping into responsibility, dealing with increased levels of stress, public speaking), and all these things are absorbed much better when done in a fun environment.
- Hearing Talks From Leadership Experts
If TED Talks have taught us anything, it’s that it is very entertaining to watch an expert give an engaging presentation on something they are passionate about. Our presenters are passionate about leadership and have the knowledge and experience to give talks that will have you laughing and learning. Years later participants tell us they reach back to these talks and can still smile at something they learned.
Those are just five fun things about attending a Leadership Triangle event. I’m sure you’ll find your own list of things. But you’ll have to attend to find out!
